The eleventh edition of the Music Marathon Brno festival.
An international multi-genre music festival taking place over 4 days across 24 venues in central Brno. The programme features Balkan music, world music, jazz, folk, rock, singer-songwriter folk, musical theatre, Romani and classical music. The festival presents Czech premieres of international musicians alongside prominent domestic artists, renowned performers and emerging talents. The artistic director is music critic Milan Tesař, programme director of Radio Proglas and head of the international panel of music critics for World Music Charts Europe.
The 2026 resident artist is French guitarist of Vietnamese descent Nguyen Le, whose work blends jazz, rock and world music.
Music Marathon Brno is a key cultural event for the city as part of its membership in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of music.
