Kavej 2 Fest is an evening event at an open-air amphitheatre featuring an exclusive premiere of the film Kavej 2. The screening will begin after dusk at multiple locations across Slovakia.
The evening programme includes meetings with the film's cast and creative team, a performance by Petr Stašák, a DJ set by Mimóza featuring Janka Kovalčiková and Lenka Libjáková, and stand-up comedy by Juraj Šok Tabaček. Organisers also promise a musical surprise.
The film Kavej 2 continues the first instalment: Klára (Anna Jakab Rakovská) and Štanci (Pavol Šimun) live in the east with Štanci's mother-in-law (Lenka Bariliková), and their life together is disrupted by Štanci's cousin Šimon (Daniel Žulčák). Veronika (Janka Kovalčiková) experiences heartbreak, and Klára takes her to Šírava, where they search for a new partner for her with the wives from the unit (Lýdia Ondrušová, Zuzana Dancáková, Dana Doppová).
The sequel also features Kristián Baran, Branislav Deák, Robo Jakab, Alena Ďuránová, Adrián Urda, Jaro Kyseľ, priest Ander (Ján Pisančin), and a singer played by Petr Stašák.
