Jazz Weekend in Clubs: Kotača & Carlsson Quartet (CZ/SWE)

Swedish guitarist Alf Carlsson and Czech trumpeter Jiří Kotača met while studying in Rotterdam, and from this encounter emerged an international quartet. Their music blends lyrical Scandinavian melody with modern jazz and elements of R'n'B, hip-hop, pop, and rock, enriched by live electronics. The ensemble is completed by Slovak jazz musicians Peter Korman and Kristián Kuruc.

The quartet has performed dozens of concerts across Europe and Asia, and this year releases their new album Our Stories.
