India - Tomáš Štěpán - Café Práh Brno
India is a country that one visit is not enough for - locals themselves call it "incredible India". Photographer, guide and adventurer Tomáš Štěpán posed tricky questions to local residents during his travels, and their answers never ceased to amaze him. Do Indians know the location of our small country? Do they know where their beloved shoe king Baťa came from?
The lecture programme includes a visit to the Taj Mahal, the kingdom of Rajasthan, a camel caravan into the Thar desert, the beaches of Goa, the Dharavi slums, the sacred city of Varanasi and a stay in a traditional ashram.
Tomáš Štěpán (born 1991) is a photographer and traveller who since 2015 has visited New Zealand, Canada, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, South Africa, Colombia, Guatemala and India, among others. From his travels he prepares lectures in which he entertainingly showcases the beauty of other countries. More at www.tomasstepan.cz
