Japan: From Tokyo to Okinawa

Japan is far more than Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. This lecture explores the nature and culture of several islands - the main island of Honshu, as well as Kyushu, Yakushima, and Okinawa.

Each region has its own character: hot springs, active volcanoes, rainforests, coral reefs. Beyond the major cities, we'll glimpse the everyday life of locals away from the tourist trail.
