Zorka Lednárová – Where Freedom Ends
Zorka Lednárová's photographic exhibition maps architectural barriers in the city and advocates for inclusive public space. The wheelchair-using artist reveals where freedom ends.
Zorka Lednárová (born 1976 in Bratislava) is a Slovak visual artist and sculptor based in Berlin. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, at Muthesius Hochschule in Kiel, and completed postgraduate studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin. Her work - spanning installation, performance and large-scale painting - centres on freedom of movement and barriers in public space, a subject she navigates daily as an electric wheelchair user. The project "Kde končí svoboda / Where Freedom Ends" was developed with students from Prague's Academy of Fine Arts.
