Yoyo Band

About

Yo Yo Band is a Czech reggae group founded in Prague in 1975 by brothers Richard and Vladimír Tesařík. Blending reggae, Latin, and ska influences, they became one of the most-played acts in Czech media during the 1990s. Their album Karviná (1993) went platinum and won three Czech Grammy awards, including Album of the Year. The band is widely regarded as a pioneer of reggae in the Czech Republic.
