Thom Alive Fest
Thom Fröde celebrates his 40th birthday and 25 years in music with three concerts featuring Imodium, LABe, and Walkmanz. A multi-stage festival with a children's area and food.
Walkmanz are a Prague rock band formed in early 2019 by members of Imodium and Portless. Singer Thom Fröde, guitarist René Rypar, drummer Zbyněk Raušer and bassist Jaro Lukáč play no-frills guitar rock sung in Czech. Their debut album Mono came out in 2020, the same year they won the Discovery of the Year award at both the Žebřík poll and Rock&Pop magazine.
Walkmanz christened their debut album Mono live in Prague - the event was hosted by actor Jiří Mádl.
The band received the Discovery of the Year award from the Žebřík poll at Depo2015 in Plzen.
The debut album Mono was released online - the physical christening had to be cancelled due to the pandemic and took place virtually.
Walkmanz released a music video for the single Spoutej, the second track from the album Mono.
The band started their career with a music video for the single Až přijde láska.
