Trautenberk is a Czech "tanzmetal" band from Klatovy, formed in late 2010. They play heavy, riff-driven metal with lyrics rooted in Czech fairy-tale characters - most notably the villain Trautenberk from the Krkonoše fairy tales - and perform in Bavarian costumes with a deliberately comedic, over-the-top stage show. In fifteen years they grew from a local act into one of the Czech rock scene's most popular live draws, selling out Prague's O2 Arena in December 2025.
On December 20, 2025, Trautenberk concluded their joint tour with Třemi sestrami with a concert at the Prague O2 Arena, where they premiered their new album Sojčí terror.
In November 2025, the band released their fifth studio album Sojčí terror, recorded over nearly three years at Sono Records studio under the direction of Milan Cimfeho.
In September 2025, the band released the single and music video Umaštěný tváře, which foreshadowed the release of the album Sojčí terror.
On February 21, 2026, the band launched their tour in support of the album Sojčí terror at KD Šeříkova in Plzen.
The album Vzpoura kanců from October 2022 soon became a gold record.
