Vlasta Špinková is a poet and prose writer from Plzeň and a member of the West Bohemian Writers' Centre. She has published several poetry collections, including Finistere země na konci (2000), Opuštěné doupě, and Stopy v povětří. She also spent her career teaching natural sciences.
