Vladimir Cosma (born 13 April 1940 in Bucharest) is a Romanian-born composer, conductor and violinist who has built his career in France since 1963. He has scored more than four hundred films and TV productions, working with directors such as Yves Robert, Francis Veber and Jean-Jacques Beineix. His two César Awards - for Diva (1981) and Le Bal (1983) - cemented his reputation as one of the defining voices of French cinema music.
