Václav Drbola

About

Václav Drbola was a Roman Catholic priest from Moravské Budějovice executed by the communist regime in 1951 following a show trial. Together with Jan Bula, he became a symbol of the Church's resistance to totalitarianism. In 2025 he was beatified as a martyr of the Catholic Church.
