The beatification celebration of Jan Bula and Václav Drbola, the first martyrs of modern Czech history, will take place on 6 June 2026 at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Both were executed by the communist regime in the 1950s.

A full-day programme for the public will run from 8:00 to 18:00 in Pavilions P and Z. The programme includes live music, testimonies, theatrical performances, and brief reflections. A children's zone and sports facilities are prepared for families with children. The highlight of the day will be a solemn mass presided over by Cardinal Michael Czerny, a native of Brno, with the participation of priests from the Czech Republic and abroad.

Performers include Petr Špaček & band, Barbora Černošková, Josef Prokeš, Pavel Konzbul, Schola brněnské mládeže – SBM, the band Brouci, and other guests.

Admission is voluntary. Registration is required – it secures a place in the hall and ensures smooth entry without waiting. More information at buladrbola.cz/vystaviste.
