Truck Violence

About

Truck Violence are a Montreal four-piece who weld hardcore, folk, and sludge into a sound that is raw and distinctly their own. Vocalist Karsyn Henderson and guitarist-banjoist Paul Lecours built the band after relocating from the Alberta prairies to Quebec in 2021, later joined by bassist Chris Clegg and drummer Thomas Hart. Their 2024 debut Violence (Mothland) scored 8/10 at Pitchfork and landed them slots at Roadburn and Roskilde. Their second album, The weathervane is my body, followed on June 26, 2026, via The Flenser.
