The Vegetable Orchestra is an Austrian ensemble founded in Vienna in 1998. Its members perform exclusively on instruments made from fresh vegetables — carrots, cucumbers, peppers, pumpkins and more — each crafted shortly before the show. After every concert, the instruments are turned into soup served to the audience. The group blends experimental, electronic and industrial music styles.
