Silvie Lauder is a Czech journalist and staff editor at the weekly Respekt, where she has worked since 2004. She studied journalism at Charles University and focuses on gender issues and the position of women in society. In 2013 she won the Journalism Award for a reportage on the Roma Holocaust, and in 2023 she published her first book, V pasti pohlaví - a collection of essays on gender inequality in the Czech Republic.
