Ritmo Factory is a Brno-based drum show founded in 2018 by percussionist Jakub Škrha, who played in the samba school orchestras of Unidos do Viradouro and Acadêmicos do Cubango at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. The group combines Brazilian-rooted rhythms with RGB light technology built into the drums themselves - a format that makes them one of the pioneers of this approach in Europe. They also organize Brasil Fest Brno, an annual Latin festival in the city centre that draws over 20,000 visitors.
Jakub Škrha participated in the carnival in Rio de Janeiro in 2025 with a winning samba school and became a champion in his Série Ouro category.
Brasil Fest Brno 2025 takes place from July 31 to August 3 in the center of Brno, and Ritmo Factory is its main organizer.
Ritmo Factory performed at a site-specific happening as part of the Brno Music Marathon at the Žlutý kopec Water Tanks.
At Brasil Fest Brno 2024, Ritmo Factory performed together with dancer Veronika Lálová, and the festival took place from August 1 to 4.
Ritmo Factory and Veronika Lálová appeared as guests on the Snídaně program on TV Nova, where they promoted Brasil Fest Brno.
