Richard Nestler is a German-Czech visual artist born in 1981 in Chemnitz, Germany. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in Milan Knížák's intermedia studio. He specialises in large-format charcoal drawing, creating imaginary landscapes with a mystical, dreamlike atmosphere. He has exhibited in the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, India, and the Netherlands.
