Reid Anderson is an American double bassist and a founding member of The Bad Plus. He co-founded the group around the turn of the millennium alongside drummer Dave King and pianist Ethan Iverson in Minneapolis. His bass playing anchors the band's distinctive sound, which blends avant-garde jazz with rock and contemporary classical influences.
