Art Life – Art for Life
A major permanent exhibition showcasing over 1,300 objects of European applied art from antiquity to the present, organized thematically across six halls of the historic museum building.
PhDr. Radim Vondráček, Ph.D. is an art historian and, since November 2023, director of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (UPM), where he has worked since 1991. He specialises in the history of applied arts and design of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as graphic arts and design theory. He studied philosophy and history at Charles University Prague and completed his doctorate at UMPRUM Prague.
