Pilsner Jazz Band is a nine-piece swing orchestra from Pilsen, Czech Republic, active since 2008. Their repertoire spans the jazz golden era - dixieland, swing, boogie-woogie and Latin jazz standards - and the band has clocked over 400 performances across Europe and beyond. They also organise the International Dixieland Festival Pilsen, which has brought bands from across Europe and the Americas to the city every year since 2016. In January 2020 the band performed at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C.
Pilsner Jazz Band performed at the jubilee 10th annual International Dixieland Festival Plzeň (July 26-27, 2025), which the band itself organizes.
The band co-organized the Bavarian-Czech jazz festival Donau.Jazz.Vilshofen in the German city of Vilshofen (June 15, 2025).
The 10th annual festival in Plzeň was supported by the city of Plzeň, Plzeň Region, the State Fund for Culture of the Czech Republic, and other partners.
Pilsner Jazz Band performed online for the Czech Center New York with a concert recorded in the historic interior of Adolf Loose in Plzeň.
The band completed a tour of the USA - performed in Fairfax (VA), Washington D.C. (Kennedy Center), and New York; released a live album from the Washington concert.
