Pěvecké sdružení moravských učitelů (PSMU) is a male choir founded in 1903 in Kroměříž by teacher and composer Ferdinand Vach. From the outset it was built on singing from memory, precise intonation and vocal discipline - a standard that set it apart from its contemporaries. Leoš Janáček, Josef Bohuslav Foerster and Bohuslav Martinů all dedicated works to the ensemble. Today it is led by choirmaster Jiří Šimáček and performs regularly at major Czech festivals and abroad.
