Petr Nohavica is a Prague-based drummer and composer with roots in the Moravian Valašsko region, trained at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and HAMU. He became one of the most in-demand sidemen on the Czech jazz scene, playing in projects such as the Allison Wheeler Quartet and the cross-genre B/Y Organism alongside guitarist Kirill Yakovlev. His debut album Glance (2023) blends African rhythms with Nordic jazz.
