Pavel Lohonka

Pavel Lohonka, known as Žalman, is a central figure in Czech folk music. He has been active since 1968 - first with the group Minnesengři, then from 1982 as the frontman of Žalman & Spol. Over more than five decades he has released over 20 original albums and helped bring South Bohemian folk songs to wider audiences.
