Pavel Fischer is a Czech violinist, composer and teacher. He spent twenty years as the leader of the Škampa Quartet before joining the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester as a full professor. Alongside his classical career he has long explored other genres - working with Iva Bittová, co-founding the world-music ensemble Bardolino in 2008, and playing in the crossover project Camael.
