Jablkoň

Jablkoň is a Czech band working at the intersection of contemporary classical music, folk, rock, and jazz. Founded over thirty years ago in connection with a jazz section, the group began collaborating with violin virtuoso Jaroslav Svěcený in the late 1980s and started performing abroad - in Europe, North America, and Africa. Beyond concerts and recordings, they also compose music for films (such as Smradi) and theatrical and television productions.

Current line-up: Michal Němec (the only founding member) - vocals, guitar; Martin Carvan - guitars, vocals; Johnny Judl - bassoon, bass guitar, electric guitar, vocals; Petr Chlouba - drums, percussion, vocals; Marie Puttnerová - vocals.
