Mužský sbor Vlčnov

About

Mužský sbor Vlčnov is a men's folk choir from the South Moravian village of Vlčnov in the Slovácko region, active in its current form since 2003, with roots going back to 1981. The 23-member ensemble sings folk songs from the Vlčnov area and the wider Slovácko region in their unaltered, traditional form. The choir is a fixture at the Vlčnov Ride of the Kings - a folk ceremony inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2011 - and performs regularly at local harvest singing events and other regional folklore gatherings.
