Mountain is an American rock band formed in New York in 1969. Known for their heavy, blues-driven sound, they are regarded as pioneers of hard rock. Their best-known track is „Mississippi Queen" (1970), featuring guitarist Leslie West and bassist/producer Felix Pappalardi.
