The Moravian Piano Trio was founded in 1997 in Brno and has performed in the same lineup since 1999: Jana Ryšánková on piano, Jiří Jahoda on violin, and Miroslav Zicha on cello - all three academics at the Janáček Academy. With over 25 full-length classical trio programmes and more than 250 arrangements of operatic and vocal works, the ensemble is one of the most versatile piano trios in Europe, and a regular chamber partner for leading opera singers from the MET, La Scala and beyond.
