Moemi Yamamoto (b. 1985, Sapporo, Hokkaido) is a Japanese-Czech painter based in Prague. She studied painting at Tohoku University of Art and Design in Yamagata and later at Prague's Academy of Fine Arts (AVU) in Josef Bolf's studio (2019–2022). Her canvases blend Japanese parallel perspective with Gothic stylisation, marked by timelessness and a sense of alienation. She is a recipient of the Discovery of the Year award from the Czech Academy of Visual Arts.
