Milan Václavík is a Brno-based traveller and cook who focuses on extreme and exotic food cultures around the world. He gives talks for schools and the general public, exploring the cultural context of unusual dishes - from fried tarantula in Cambodia to durian in Malaysia. With over ten years of experience in entomophagy, he also promotes insect-eating in the media and helps audiences get past their first hesitation at his live tastings. He runs the food and travel blog Cesty s chutí and works as a tour guide in Asia and Africa.
