Míla Kolář

About

Míla Kolář (born 1946) is a Czech amateur photographer and member of the Prague creative group Město (City), which has been documenting the everyday life of streets and buildings since the 1980s. The group grew out of the Vinohrady photoclub and took part in an exhibition in Venice in 1986. Kolář's work is marked by a quiet, personal eye for urban ordinariness - unpretentious, yet lasting in its testimony.
