Mihai Popoviciu is a Romanian DJ and producer from Sibiu, born in 1981. He started making music around 2001 and landed his first vinyl release in 2005 on DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolo imprint. Since then he has released on Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bedrock and his own Cyclic Records label, which he founded in 2012. His sound sits at the intersection of deep techno and minimal house, built on precise grooves and hypnotic energy.
In February 2025, Mihai Popoviciu released the singles "To Be Back" and "Ain't No More" on Bandcamp.
In October 2025, Mihai Popoviciu performed at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in a B2B set with Andrey Pushkarev for Berg Audio.
