The Three Tenors in Moravia
Three world-renowned tenors perform in a concert project at Valtice Castle. An evening hosted by Monika Timková and artistic director Michal Lieberzeit, with a presentation of the ALSA charity's work.
Mickael Spadaccini is an Italian-Belgian tenor who launched his career at nineteen, winning the Nikolai Giaurov Prize awarded by Mirella Freni. He trained at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, then at the Università del Belcanto in Bologna under Mirella Freni, and at the Accademia Verdiana with Carlo Bergonzi. His 2008 international debut as Ismaele in Verdi's Nabucco at Reggio Emilia opened the door to stages including the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Semperoper Dresden, and the Salzburg Easter Festival. Since then he has built a repertoire of over forty leading lyric tenor roles spanning Verdi, Puccini, Massenet, and Bizet.
In May 2026, Spadaccini sang the role of Calaf in Puccini's Turandot at the Opéra Grand Avignon under the baton of Federico Santi in a production by Paco Azorin.
In the 2024/2025 season, he performed the role of Manrico in The Troubadour at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzen and the role of Don Jose in Carmen at the National Theatre Brno.
In 2025, he performed as Hoffmann in Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann at the Latvian National Opera in Riga.
In 2024, he sang the title role in Giordano's Andrea Chenier at the Teatro di Pisa and as part of the Circuito Lombardo, and performed at the Mascagni Festival as Turiddu in Cavalleria rusticana.
For the 2025/2026 season, Spadaccini is cast as Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc and as Manrico in The Troubadour again at the J. K. Tyl Theatre.
