The Czech Philharmonic is the foremost Czech symphony orchestra, founded in Prague in 1896. It ranks among the world's most respected orchestras and performs regularly at major international venues. Jakub Hrůša became its chief conductor from the 2024/25 season.

Daniel Harding is a British conductor who trained under Simon Rattle and Claudio Abbado. He has worked with the world's top orchestras and since 2019 holds the position of principal guest conductor of the Czech Philharmonic.

About the venue: Rudolfinum

The Rudolfinum is a neo-Renaissance cultural monument on Alšovo nábřeží in Prague 1, built between 1876 and 1884 by architects Josef Zítek and Josef Schulz. Since 1992 it has been the home of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, whose main stages are Dvořák Hall and Suk Hall. The building also houses Galerie Rudolfinum, focused on contemporary art, and serves as the centre of the Prague Spring and Dvořák Praha festivals.
