Michal Hrůza (born 1971 in Turnov) is a Czech singer, guitarist and songwriter who has led his own band, Kapela Hrůzy, since going solo in 2006. Before that he spent a decade as frontman of Ready Kirken, writing more than fifty songs for the group. His lyrics blend wit with poetry, and many of his tracks have appeared on Czech film and TV soundtracks, including the series Slunečná. He won the Anděl Award for Male Singer of the Year in 2014.
