About the venue: Čestice Palace

The early Baroque château in Čestice near Strakonice was built in the late 17th century and restored in 1690–1702 by the Říčanský family after a fire. The single-storey, two-wing L-shaped building with a hexagonal tower is a listed cultural monument. The grounds include a landscape park with a round bastion and decorative loopholes. Today the château houses the municipal office, a ceremonial hall, a library, and a small museum featuring a hunting room and numismatic collection; annual exhibitions of South Bohemian artists are held here.

About: DIVOKEJ BILL

Divokej Bill is a Czech folk-rock ensemble from Úvaly near Prague, established in 1998 by Václav Bláha. The band's musical palette combines rock, folk, country and Celtic traditions, with all songs performed exclusively in Czech. Throughout their 25-year history, they have performed over 2,000 concerts and established themselves as a prominent fixture of the Czech rock landscape. Their eighth studio album, Bazilišek (2023), commemorated the band's quarter-century milestone and culminated in a sold-out performance at Prague's O2 arena.

About: Wohnout

The Prague punk-rock outfit Wohnout was established in 1988 by brothers Jan and Matěj Homola, who handle guitars and vocals, joined by bassist Jiří Zemánek and drummer Zdeněk "Fenek" Steiner. The band regrouped in 1995 following an earlier hiatus and performed their debut concert in February 1996. Across three decades, Wohnout has issued more than ten studio albums and emerged as one of the Czech Republic's most acclaimed rock bands, distinguished by sardonic songwriting and electrifying stage performances.

About: Michal Horák

Michal Horák (born 1998 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech composer and singer-songwriter who performs on guitar, piano, harmonica and heligonka. He gained recognition through victories in the Czechtalent and Česko zpívá competitions in 2013, and received the Discovery of the Year award at the Český slavík poll in 2021. His work draws from folk traditions and is characterized by situational humour and an astute commentary on everyday occurrences. He has released four studio albums through 2025 and has collaborated with philharmonic orchestras on multiple occasions.
