About

Maxim Znak is a Belarusian human rights lawyer and dissident. After the 2020 protests against Lukashenko's regime, he was arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison on charges of conspiring to seize state power. He has become one of the most prominent symbols of political repression in Belarus.
