Matej Benko is a Slovak-born pianist and composer based in Prague, and a prominent figure on the Czech jazz scene. He studied composition at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and has collaborated with artists such as Richard Müller, Dan Bárta, and Michal Horáček. In 2015 he released the solo album Planety, featuring a host of leading Czech and Slovak singers.
