Marek Šedivý is a Czech conductor and pianist, Musical Director of the Opera of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava since 2020. He previously served as chief conductor of the Silesian Theatre in Opava, where he led productions ranging from Mascagni to Janáček. He has appeared at Prague Spring and Dvořák Praha, and recorded Beethoven piano concertos with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
