About the venue

Sportovní hala Fortuna is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Holešovice district of Prague, opened in 1962 with an original capacity of 18,500. It has hosted the Ice Hockey World Championships four times and served as the home rink of HC Sparta Praha for over five decades. Today it holds more than 13,000 spectators and stages ice hockey, basketball, floorball, concerts and ice-skating shows. The naming rights belong to Czech betting company Fortuna.
