Makeshift Art Bar are a Belfast quartet - Joseph Sweeney, Alleyah Boulaich, Callum McGuigan and Callum Sweeney - who fold post-punk, grunge, noise rock and electronics into a raw, confrontational sound. Their January 2025 debut EP Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental Reading earned them a BBC Radio 6 session and festival slots across Europe. In 2026 they signed to Heist or Hit and announced their second EP, Marionette.
