IDLES
British punk-rock band IDLES performs at Prague's Forum Karlín.
Enola Gay are a Belfast four-piece - Fionn Reilly (vocals), Joe McVeigh (guitar), Adam Cooper (bass) and Luke Beirne (drums) - formed in late 2019, working at the intersection of post-punk, noise rock and hip-hop. Their sound pairs abrasive, reverb-soaked guitars with a rhythm section drawing equally from left-field electronica and late-70s post-punk, while the vocals carry sharp social commentary. They broke through at Eurosonic and SXSW on their sixth and seventh ever shows, and have released three EPs - Gransha, Casement and Mournes. NME called them "Iggy Pop-approved" and Rolling Stone listed them among acts to define 2022.
The band announced their third EP Mournes and released the single 'Cortana', inspired by producer Daniel Avery.
Enola Gay completed an American tour, where they shared the stage with Death Grips and Queens of the Stone Age.
The band made their television debut on the show Jehnny Beth's Echoes on ARTE.
Enola Gay performed as the opening act for Therapy? at Ulster Hall in Belfast.
The band has a scheduled performance at the 100 Club in London.
