Magdalena Juříková

About

Magdalena Juříková (born 1956, Žilina) is a Czech art historian, curator and director of the City Gallery Prague since 2012. She studied art history in Brno, then worked in the modern sculpture collection of the National Gallery in Prague before building collections for Komerční banka and the Galerie Zlatá husa foundation. Her focus is Czech 20th-century art, particularly sculpture, and she co-founded Hapestetika, a project making art accessible to visually impaired audiences.
