About

Lovebites is a Japanese all-female power metal band formed in Tokyo in 2016. The lineup - vocalist Asami, guitarists Midori and Miyako, bassist Fami and drummer Haruna - broke through internationally in 2018 by winning the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band and becoming the first Japanese all-female metal band to play Wacken Open Air. In 2026 they signed with Napalm Records and released their fifth album Outstanding Power, capped by a sold-out debut at the Nippon Budokan.

The fifth album Outstanding Power was released physically on May 8, 2026 via Napalm Records - the band's first international label outside Asia.

The band performed for the first time at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on March 29, 2026 - the concert was sold out.

Lovebites signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records (excluding Asia) and announced the release of the album Outstanding Power.

The band completed the American tour Eternal Phenomenon Tour US 2025 in nine cities, from New York to Los Angeles.

The live album and documentary film from the first world tour, No More Tragedy, were released internationally on April 4, 2025 via JPU Records.
