Induction is an international power metal band based in Germany, with members drawn from four different countries. Their sound draws on classic 1980s heavy metal, layered with symphonic elements and an epic feel. The band built early momentum as a support act for Visions of Atlantis and The Warkings, and has since been carving out a presence on the European festival circuit.
The music website Dark-Art.de published a profile of the band Induction as "band of the week" (14/2026) and described it as a representative of the new wave of power metal.
The band released a single "Sacrifice", which according to their own statement indicates the musical direction in the new lineup.
Induction has confirmed performances at the festivals Brezfest (Jihlava), Büren Open Air and other European events in summer 2026.
