About

Bloodbound is a Swedish power metal band founded in 2004 in Trollhättan by guitarist Tomas Olsson and keyboardist Fredrik Bergh. They debuted in 2005 with Nosferatu and have since released eleven studio albums, consistently rooted in melodic heavy metal with epic, history-driven lyrics. Their influences range from Iron Maiden to Helloween and HammerFall.

    On November 21, 2025, Bloodbound released their eleventh studio album Field Of Swords on Napalm Records - a concept album set in the Middle Ages after 1066.
