Birthday Hits
Leoš Mareš marks his 50th birthday with a concert featuring classic hits and special guest performers.
Leoš Mareš (born 27 April 1976 in Beroun) is a Czech radio and television presenter, singer and DJ who has co-hosted the Morning Show on Evropa 2 since the late 1990s. He became the face of major talent competitions on TV Nova - including Česko hledá SuperStar, X Factor and Hlas Česko Slovenska - and is one of the highest-paid presenters in the country. A 2014 Forbes report named him among the 50 most influential people in Czech media.
TV Nova confirmed that Leoš Mareš will host a new season of the singing competition SuperStar, which will return to screens in autumn 2026 after a five-year break.
A three-part documentary mini-series Leoš directed by Braňa Holička was released on the Oneplay platform, made on the occasion of Mareš's fiftieth birthday.
Leoš Mareš concluded his First tour with two shows at the Prague O2 Arena (January 31 and February 1, 2025), with the stage specially reconfigured for the country's largest venue.
The spring part of the First tour included 25 sold-out concerts throughout the Czech Republic; the autumn part continued in Prague and Brno.
Mareš deliberately did not post on social media for approximately a year; as a reason, he stated that the digital break allows him to be more present with his family.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
