LAURA A JEJÍ TYGŘI - 40 Years
Legendary Czech rock band Laura a její tygři marks 40 years with a concert in Ostrava.
Laura a její tygři is a Czech rock band founded in late 1985 by Karel Šůcha in Most, with the name drawn from William Saroyan's novella Tracy's Tiger. The group blends funk, soul, jazz and rock, and is instantly recognisable by its signature look of white shirts, black ties and black sunglasses. Over four decades the band has played more than 2,000 concerts across three continents, released 13 albums, and won the French Grand Prix Media RFI award in 1993. Notable alumni include singer Ilona Csáková.
The band has planned a Slovak tour for autumn 2026 with Ilona Csáková - stops in Košice, Trenčín, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Prešov and Žilina.
Laura and Her Tigers are on the program of the Celtic Night festival in Harrachov in 2026.
In January 2025, the band performed at Junior Club in Příbram.
