Korrontzi is a Basque world music group founded in 2004 in Mungia by accordionist Agus Barandiaran. Their sound is rooted in traditional Basque folk music, driven by the diatonic button accordion known as trikitixa, and coloured by influences from across the globe. The group regularly places in the world music top ten and has toured across five continents.
